Highly suggest to leave the EGR intact. The air injection system can be deleted. Remove those hoses, check valve and cross over tube in the picture. Remove the air pump and all vacuum hoses leading to and from the TAB/TAD solenoids. Leave those solenoids electrically connected to keep the Check Engine Light off.To delete the smog you need to remove the pump itself and all related hoses and pipes. You'll have to plug the hole in the exhaust and the holes in the rear of each cylinder head. Then plug the top vacuum ports on both the tab and tad solenoids. Mine (that were not threaded) were E7 heads off a 1993 Thunderbird 5.0. On these I used a plate to go over main hole and a 1/4" bolt to hold the plate on. THE threaded 1/4" hole is already existing. Vehicle: 1993 F-250 XLT, 351W (5.8), 4x4, w/AC. I removed the three bolts holding the pulley onto the smog pump.
