I have a very high pitched whine on my EX-L 1.5 when accelerating only. I can hear it under 40 MPH. Pretty sure it’s not wind related. The best way to describe it is that it sounds like the whine you would hear from plane engines. Maybe you’re hearing the spool from the turbo.

Hello everyone, I am new here. I am not sure if this is an old topic but I am experiencing a whinning or “supercharger” like noise on sudden acceleration on my sport. Mileage is 27k. Usually happens when you suddenly step on the gas around 1800-3000 rpm, beyond that rpm noise goes away. Usually on 80-90s fahrenheit.

I don’t think it’s the power steering pump, but it’s a similar sound, coming from that general area, but turning the wheel doesn’t have an effect on the sound - only pushing on the gas pedal.
