I have direct tv stream. They have informed me that the box is controllable only by the original remote. The codes cannot be learned by any other remote, be it a tv or universal remote. That really (Edited per community guidelines). Not true. Works fine with my Logitech Harmony remotes.

Thanks. I wonder why it won't fully pair (pair and program) Actually it does seem to do the initial pairing part, but won't "program" to control my TV. It fails at that part and then locks up forcing me to unpair it (using the remote's keys). But it will pair and program with another box (with the same model TV).
