Joe in FlMarlin 1894 and 94 manufacture dates. I have a question on manufacture dates for a couple of different Marlins. First is a Model 94, in 25-20 serial number 8014xx, as best I can tell the first number is a 8 and not a 3, but even with a magnifying glass I am not 100% sure. Second is a 1894C 357/38 Serial number, 92041xxx.Marlin 1894P .44 magnum. Barely used, nearly mint. $1200 OBO. Looks like it had a red dot mounted on it at one time. Now has custom sights with a white front blade. It's extremely short and handy - would make an amazing brush gun. The checkering is really grippy. They only made these for a couple of years, and are very hard to find.
